PEPA CASES (1980)

Born in Nules (Castellón, Spain), she begins her formation to the fours years in classic dance of the “Royal Academy of Dancing of London”. After eleven years and diverse courses of music, she starts studying other dances, of which it prevails the contemporary dance and that she will adopt as base technology of his work.

In 1999 she begins in the interpretation in Vila-real (Castellón, Spain). She starts forming a part of recognized companies of street being employed at national and European tours, working like actress, dancer and choreographer (1999-2003).

Her formation was arranged so much during the career as after it, with classes of contemporary dance, interpretation, dance air, clown, cabaret, singing and match of improvisation, between others, received for professionals of Spain, France and Latin America.

Languages: certified advancer level of Valencian and English intermediate-basic level.

In 2003 she creates her own company of dance - theatre: A Tempo Dansa.

She is licensed in Dramatic Art in " The school of the actor " (Valencia, Spain 2001-05).

She has worked as actress, dancer and art director in different theatrical assemblies, events of great format and shorts managing to form her own way of expression creating her own dance-theatre.

She is an active member of the Council International Dance (CID) of the UNESCO.

In 2005 she travelled to Buenos Aires where she continued complementing her artistic formation and where it was living three years during her Latin-American tour.

With three of the spectacles of A Tempo Dansa and giving workshops of dance - theatre for adults and children has travelled from tour along Spain, Greece, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Chile, Brazil and Mexico.

Better nominated actress, better director and winner of the first prize of the Festival of Monologues of the Tigra 2008, (Chaco, Argentina) with individual of dance - theatre  “Dance Me … up to closing the eyes on having fallen down (Báilame… hasta cerrar los ojos al caer), better nominated actress in the II Contest of Theatre of Comedy of Cullera 2010 (Valencia, Spain) for "Bucharest24" written by Abel Zamora and directed by Sergio Caballero, woodcock with a residence of creation in the I Certamen of the Mar (Valencia, Spain) with the spectacle " Kiss Me ... until your death separates us " (Bésame… hasta que tu muerte nos separe) and better prize spectacle and prize of the public for  "Look for Me … until you are " (Búscame… hasta que te encuentres) in Indifestival 2010 (Santander, Spain).

At her to Spain she woeks for LA Furtiva, a new company os dance os street, as interpreter and choreographer, for the spectacle “Esfèric” winner of the prize “Valladolid proposes-TAC'09”, candidate for the spectacle revelation '09 for the Valencian Community, nominated the best dancer and winner to the best spectacle of the theatre os street in the
Premis Abril '10 of Valencia.

Lover of the over of the literature she writes like interest not only musical topics, poetry, theatrical texts and narrative statements, obtaining special mention of the juror in the quality of the writing in the “I Certamen de Relatos Breves Valencia Central Park” with one of her stories of her book From the train. Stories to travel.

Nowadays she studies the postdegree of theatrical pedagogy of the University of Valencia where she resides. She continues creating in her company of dance, theatre and music A Tempo Dansa and being employed at artistic projects of different companies, festivals and events, giving classes and promoting her first disc " In my language " of her songs and where the guitar and the voice puts to the band that takes her name: LA PEPA
